Kaya Yalçınoğlu
Yalçınoğlu, who completed his secondary and high school education in Ankara, studied economics at the University of Boston, Boston, USA between 1982 and 1986.
Yalçınoğlu, who returned to Turkey after completing his education, has undertaken many successful initiatives. He established OPAL Giyim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. and achieved successful exports. Among the companies it exports are brands such as GAP and Marks & Spencer. He also created the “Ancyra” brand.
In 2000, he bought old houses in Antalya Kaleiçi, restored them under the name “Tekeli Mansions” and introduced them to Antalya tourism as a 16-room boutique hotel.
He founded Yuvam A.Ş. in 2002 and implemented “KIDS ACADEMY” in Ankara. This school provides educational services to children aged 0-12. Today, it is the largest kindergarten in Ankara with its facility built on 4 decares of land in Ümitköy.
Yalçınoğlu, who founded Mavi Denizci Turizm ve Deniz Taşıtları İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. in the same year, still serves as the chairman of the board of directors in this company.
